stuff

We went out to lunch at a new-to-us Italian restaurant and on the menu was a "recession special" for $15, which included Caesar salad, soup of the day and the entree was penne vodka, Margharita pizza and two other things that I can't remember. I had the Caesar salad and penne vodka which was quite delicious.

I had a fun time creating this mini lap quilt. I love coming up with the color combination and then making it work so that the colors flow. Sometimes I'm surprised at how well everything works. For this particular quilt design, I had a certain picture flow in mind, but when I stitched the pieces together, the wrong set was sewn together, but once it was completed, it really didn't matter because the outcome was the same.
