eye twitch is back

and it is due to stress. My company was sold this afternoon and the future does not look bright. At least I have my books, quilting, my computer and TV.

I went book shopping and bought Murder Off the Books and Murder Takes the Cake by Evelyn David (new-to-me author) and Dead Before Dark by Wendy Corsi Staub. I also got Last Chance by Sarita Leone.

From the library I picked up The Chocolate Cupid Killings by JoAnna Carl and Weeding Out Trouble by Heather Webber (new-to-me author).

Word of the day: FATUOUS - stupid; foolishly self-satisfied

Trivia: On this day in 1792, the cornerstone of the Executive Mansion was laid in Washington, DC. The building became known as the White House in 1818.

Steps taken today: 10,368

on TV tonight: NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Good Wife, the forgotten, Dancing With The Stars, Rita Rocks

I'm reading Weeding Out Trouble by Heather Webber, the fifth and final book in the "Nina Quinn" mystery series.

Hugs, hugs and more hugs. I'm so sorry stress caused the eye twitch to return. That's the last thing you need with everything else going on.

Sending lots of hugs, prayers and virtual chocolate.

Hope all works out with the company. We seem to be on the brink of something too and it's not a good feeling.

Oh, hon. I hope it all works out okay for you. As for the books, I hope they help. I figure that people who look down on genre fiction are either too shallow or too lucky to have to escape sometimes. When I need a little relaxation and escapism, novels are one of the first places I go.
