nice day to quilt

I don't know how quilters machine-quilt a large quilt. It's bad enough my straight lines are not straight, but when you have to handle a large quilt with folds here and folds there, the straight lines one is attempting to do becomes non-existent. However, regardless of how non-straight the lines look, it looks good. Tomorrow I'll try to finish the rest of the machine-quilting.

Tomorrow is the first day of my indoor power-walking class and why oh why is my knee bothering me.

Quilting update: machine-quilted the sashing.

Word of the day: Martinet - strict disciplinarian; one who demands exact conformity to rules

Trivia: On this day in 1886, the tuxedo dinner jacket made its U.S. debut in New York City.

on TV tonight: nothing

I'm still reading Plum Pudding Murder by Joanne Fluke

I think you've done a fabulous job with the quilt. It's gorgeous!
I'm sorry to hear your knee is still bothering you. Would a brace help?
I hope you have a GOOD day tomorrow.

Very striking quilt and WAY beyond my abilities so I'm impressed!

I do hope the power walking didn't make your knee worse.
