Quilting update: There are 13 steps in creating a typical quilt and I'm at steps 8-10 which is choosing the quilt batting, choosing the quilt backing and assembling the quilt sandwich. Step 7 is the finished top quilt with its uneven raw edges.Trivia: On this day in 1535, the first complete English translation of the Bible was printed in Zurich, Switzerland and in 1648, the first volunteer fire department was established in New York by Peter Stuyvesant.
