watching intently

Have you been watching the events happening in Denver? A six-year old boy was floating in a homemade flying saucer-shaped balloon. We were all glued to a co-worker's computer watching the events live praying that the balloon will land safely and the little boy will come out unharmed. To our horror when the balloon landed, the boy was not inside. Our worst fears is that he fell out of the balloon. Breaking news: the boy was found safe and alive.

The weather is freaky...we're in the midst of a Nor'easter while further north they're expecting snow.

Word of the day: RAREFY - to make thinner or sparser

Trivia: On this day in 1860, Grace Bedell, 11 years old, wrote a letter to presidential candidate Abraham Lincoln. The letter stated that Lincoln would look better if he would grow a beard.

on TV tonight: Bones, CSI, The Mentalist

I'm reading The Chocolate Cupid Killings by JoAnna Carl

As the mother of a six year old, I was praying for a happy ending. I just want to know what exactly the brother saw and told police to make them think he was on the balloon!

Hope you had a nice evening!

That balloon thing was so freaky! I'm glad he was found safe and sound, but now everyone is wondering if it was a hoax.

I heard this morning it said that this whole thing was a hoax so the parents could get a reality show. It def was cold in NY the days I was there but I had a warm jacket so it wasn't too bad :)
