Have you noticed the abundance of new commercials for hospitals? It's not for a career in medicine, but rather a stay at their facility. Do they know something I don't know.

I use to watch all three Law & Order shows. The original show was dropped because all the people that I liked left. L&O: SVU - I got tired of it, but I continued to watch L&O: Criminal Intent. Not anymore. First both lead actors (Vincent D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe) will be departing the series after the season two-parter this year and now I just heard that Eric Bogosian will also be leaving (I didn't care for him much). Now, there is no one from the original show. So long L&O shows.

Marianne asked if I'm going to "test drive" the nook...yep!

Word of the Day: GULLIBLE - easily deceived

Trivia: On this day in 1880, James and John Ritty patented the first cash register.

Steps taken today: 10,020

on TV tonight: Game 6 of the MLB World Series, Criminal Minds, CSI: NY

I haven't decided which book to read next.

Hey Dru! How are you doing?
I use to watch L&O too... but when the original cast started getting replaced, I stopped watching it. Then I fell in love and still love the CSI shows... all of them!! However hubby likes the sci-fi, chiller, spike tv channels too much... So, I just ditched tv for books now!
Hope you had a great day!

Yeah I used to watch L & O too but havent in a while since they have changed so much. Love CSI shows but haven't been watching much of them lately.

Oh let me know what you think about the Nook. We had a discussion on one of my groups about it since several of us have the kindle.

I slowly dropped the L&O franchise one by one too. And now the only CSI show I like is the New York edition.

I, too, no longer watch the L&O shows. And for pretty much the same reasons you listed. I do still watch a CSI show every now and then, too.
I hope you're having a wonderful and sunny Thursday!
